James "JAMIE" Duane Petrie, 36, of Kalkaska, MI. passed away on Thursday, July 2nd, 2009 . James was born in Midland, MI on December 2, 1972, the son of the late Duane and Patricia (Klug) Petrie. He was the husband of Jennifer (Garceau) Petrie. Married 7/3/2007 at Hartwick Pines Survived by: Wife: Jennifer of Kalkaska Mother: Patricia Petrie Sisters, Michelle Petrie of Florida., Elizabeth (James) Bakeman of Grand Rapids, Patricia Tidwell of Alabama, Amy Laughlin of California, Lydia Crampton of Midland Melissa (Tom) Meldrum-Aaberg of Grand Rapids, Debra Petrie of Midland, Christina (Doug) Meldrum of California, Sarah Petrie of Grayling. Brothers: David (Kay) Petrie of Grayling, Daniel (Kirsten) Meldrum of Indiana. Several nieces and nephews, Father-in-law: Danny Garceau Mother-in-law: Linda Langlois. Preceded in death by his father Duane Petrie and nephew Greg Petrie. Visitation will be held on Monday July 6, 2009 between 2-4 PM. and 6-8 PM. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home. . Funeral Service will be held at the Burning Bush Tabernacle on Tuesday July 7th, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Robert Klug officiating.
