James William Douglas

James William Douglas, 68, of Lovells Township,passed away on Thursday October 6, 2011. He was a wonderful husband, great father,and good friend. James was born in Flint, MI on April 11, 1943, of the late Fern (Atkins) and Everett Douglas. James married the former Judy Ann Osborne on November 23, 1963 in Flint, Michigan. James worked for the maintenance department for the Flint Board of Education He enjoyed deer hunting, watching sports, reading, country music, and playing cards. He also enjoyed tinkering, fixing things, and working outside. Survived by his wife Judy of 47 years Daughters: Donna (Darwin) Little, of Clio, MI; Tina (Doug) Douglas, of Arizona; Shelley (Kelly) Parker, of Davison, MI; Angela (J.R.) Jones, of Arizona. Grandchildren: Dawn, Debbie, Courtney, Erin, Kelsey, Jammie, Emily, and Adam. Great grandchildren: Jacob and Thomas Visitation will be held on Monday October 10, 2011 between 1-7 p.m. at the Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home. Funeral service at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home, Grayling, MI, at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, October 11th, 2011. Interment will be at Lovells Township Cemetery Lovells Township.
