James Walter Collen

James Walter Collen, 74, of Grayling, MI passed away suddenly Tuesday, July 8, 2014. Jim was born July 18, 1939 to Sam and Lois Collen in Gladwin , MI. He worked at Bear Archery and Grayling Reel for many years. He loved to hunt and fish, watch birds and work in his garden. Jim is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sandra Sue Collen; sons, James (Virginia) Collen, Jr., Joseph (Katherine) Collen, Jason Collen, and Jeff Collen; daughters, Lisa (Edward) Carlton and Phyllis (Steve) Huffman; brother, George (Carolyn) Collen; sisters, Janice (Bob) Wright and Nancy Biddle. Jim is preceded in death by both parents, son David, and grandson Timmy. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Marshall officiating.
