James Joseph Bryan

James Joseph Bryan, 41, of Grayling passed away on Sunday May 8, 2011. James was born in Tawas City, MI on August 6, 1969, the son of Thomas and Sheila (Conley) Bryan. He worked approximately 16 years at M.A.T.E.S. as a tank mechanic. James enjoyed spending time with his daughters and 'spoiling' them. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking, woodworking, and playing with his computer. Survived by Daughters: Kassie June and Jenna Jo Bryan. Lifelong friend and mother of his children: Dawn Bryan Mother: Sheila (Marc) Bryan-Harland of Grayling Father: Thomas Bryan of Ohio. Sister: Deborah (James) Knowles of Grayling and niece Ashley (Nick) Schreiner and their children: Blake and Addison Anna (Eddie) Calmes of Florida and niece Andrea and her baby Aubrey. Brother: Robert Joseph Bryan of Oklahoma. Grandfather: Oscar (Darlene) Cheatham of Garden City Dog: JC, Preceded in death by his Grandparents Henry and Juanita Bryan; Grandmother Ellen Cheatham; Niece Lindsey Knowles; Uncle Frank Bryan; and Cousin Shane Gray. Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 11, 2011 between 4-7:00 p.m. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home. Funeral Service Thursday, May 12th, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home .
