Jackie "JACK" Lee Sabin, 70, of Grayling passed away on Tuesday January 25, 2011. Jackie was born in Petoskey, MI on September 26, 1940, the son of the late Alton E. and Hazel D. (Burch) Sabin. He was the husband of Arlene, they were married on July 2, 1988 in Redford Township, MI. He was retired from the City of Dearborn Heights where he was the director of Department of Public Works. Jack was a member of Mt. Hope Lutheran Church. He was also a lifelong avid collector and driver of Kaiser-Frazer automobiles. Survived by wife Arlene of 23 years; Daughter: Tina (Chris) Lindon of Wayne, MI. Sons: Mark (Kathy) Sabin of Redford, MI., David Sabin of Garden City, MI. Stepchildren: Nat, Tracy, Michael, Denise, Kristine, & Brian 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren Brothers: Mike Neubecker (Cecelia) of Mancelona, MI Ernest Neubecker, Jr. (Debbie) of Inkster, MI Preceded in death by his parents, brother Gerald and sister Shirley. Visitation will be held on Friday January 28, 2011 between 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home in Grayling, MI. Funeral Service will be held at Mt. Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church of Grayling, MI, on Saturday, January 29th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Todd Brunworth officiating.
