Jack Wayne Edgerton

Jack Wayne Edgerton, 56, of Grayling, MI., passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013. Jack was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on February 17, 1957, a son of Edna May (Beckmann) Edgerton and the late Gerald DeWitt Edgerton. He graduated from William Tyndale College in Detroit. Jack served three churches in his 20 years of ministry. Country Fellowship Bible Church in Battle Creek, MI., Gowen Bible Church in Gowen, MI., and Morgan Township Bible Church in Valparaiso, IN. He married the former Gayle Hunsberger on February 5, 1983 in Battle Creek, Michigan. He was an avid reader and "he will be remembered by his family as a loving husband and father". He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Grayling. Survived by his wife Gayle of 30 years. Daughters: Amber (Jeff) Hodgson of Grayling Kara Edgerton of Chicago Mother: Edna Edgerton Brother: Randy (Nancy) Edgerton of Bellevue Preceded in death by his father. Visitation will be on Friday, November 1, 2013 between 4-8 p.m. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church until time of Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 p.m. with Dr. Robert Barnett officiating.
