J. Charles Tetreau

Mr. J. Charles Tetreau, 95, of Grand Rapids, MI and formerly of Grayling passed away on Sunday, April 26th, 2009. J. Charles was born in Bad Axe, MI on May 29, 1913, the son of the late Joshua and Lucy (Gravelle) Tetreau. He married the former Dorothy Alice Tucker on January 1, 1937 in Detroit Michigan Survived by his wife Dorothy of 72 years Daughters: Marilyn (Phil)Townley of Grayling. Mary Lu (Charles) Steiner of Kentwood. Sons: Jerry C. (Beulah, "called Kit") Tetreau of Mesa, AZ., Paul M (Jill) Tetreau of Prescott, AZ. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, & great-great grandchildren Sisters: Elsie of Detroit, Lucile of Boyne City, and Lilly of Bad Axe Many nieces and nephews. Also survived by five Hagle foster children and their descendents. Visitation will be held on Monday May 4, 2009 between 10-11:00 A. M. at Calvary Baptist Church, Grayling, Michigan. Funeral Service will follow visitation at 11:00A. M. on Monday, May 4th, 2009 with Dr. Jerry Tetreau and Rev. Chuck Steiner officiating, assisted by grandson Dr. Joel Tetreau and grand son-in-law, Rev. David Smith. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery Grayling, MI.
