Irving D. McIsaac, 88, of Grayling passed away on Wednesday, January 28th, 2009. "Irv" was born in Mackinaw City, Michigan on May 4, 1920, the son of the late Owen Floyd and Delvia (Dietz) McIsaac. Irv graduated from St. Andrews in Saginaw. He served in the U.S. Army. "Irv" married the former Eleanor Louise Ranville in 1952 in Mackinaw City. They were married for 52 years when Eleanor preceded him in death in 2005. He worked as a Railroad Worker for Penn Central for 38 years and then worked at Mercy Hospital for approximately 20 years. Survived by Sons: Daniel (Mary Jo) McIsaac of Manistee Patrick McIsaac of Grayling Daughter: Marie McIsaac-Harland of Stuart, Florida. Grandchildren: Jayne, Jaclyn, Melissa, Michael, Patrick, Jr., Colleen, Colin, & Nicholaus Great grandchildren: Jason Jr., Grace, Aaron Jr., Gracelyn, Madelyn, and Gabriel Precede in death by his parents, wife Eleanor and sisters Karma Gillis and Norma King. Visitation will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home in Grayling on Friday January 30, 2009 between 3-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Grayling, MI, on Saturday January 31, 2009.
