Hubert (Hugh) Elmer Ingram age 87, of Grayling, went home to be with the Lord on August 9, 2013. He was born at home in Mt. Morris on February 27, 1926. He proudly served in the US Navy (LSMR-198) from May of 44 to May of 46. He married Leota (Haemmerlein) Marshall on January 26, 1957. They resided in Flint and had 1 daughter Penny. He retired to Grayling from GM after 32 years of service, from Buick (Flint), Local 599, in 1978. He was a member of the Eagles and American Legion for over 40 years. He enjoyed bowling on the Senior League at the Legion until his health prevented him last year. He leaves to cherish his memory daughter Penny (Dave) of St. Charles, step-son Robert Marshall of Flushing, step-daughter Dianne (Ray) Lancaster of Flint, several grandchildren, and sister Merna (Len) Cota of Clio. He was preceded in death by loving wife, Leota, parents, Katy and Hamilton Ingram, sisters, Lena, Bertha, Helen, Vera, Clara, Perthina, Geraldine, and brother Lloyd. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 on Tuesday August 13, at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home in Grayling. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-8. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the "Injured Marine Semper Fi" fund, or "Rotoplast International" fund (this is similar to Operation Smile).
