Howard Dean Ervin

Howard Dean Ervin, 58, of Grayling passed away Saturday, April 12th, 2008. Howard was born in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa on August 7, 1949, the son of the late Charles Wilburn Ervin and Norla Lee (Walls) Ervin. He was married to Nola Adair (Merthew) Ervin for 40 years. He was an insurance salesman, an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed raising and caring for his beloved coon hounds. Howard is survived by Daughters: Melody (Oscar) Jimenez of Grayling. Angel (Cal) Dutton of Frederic. Son:Toby (Jackie) Ervin of Grayling. Eleven grandchildren Sister: Alma (Roy) Hull of Grayling. Brother: L.J. (Rhonda) Ervin of Grayling. Preceded in death by parents, brother John, and Sisters: Ruby, Mandy and Charlene. Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 15, 2008 between 3-8 P.M. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home. in Grayling, Michigan Funeral service will be held at Grayling Assembly of God, Grayling, Michigan on Wednesday April 16, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Gary Wojdan officiating.
