Herman William Brunger

Herman William Brunger, 79, of Grayling passed away on Saturday, March 21st, 2009. Herman was born in Lennon, Michigan on February 17, 1930, the son of the late Homer and Lona (Rennals) Brunger. He married the former Betty Armstrong on March 10, 1951 He served in the U.S. Army as a Sgt. in the Korean War. He was retired from General Motors. Survived by his wife Betty of 58 years. Sons: Mark (Charleen) Brunger of Swartz Creek, MI Robert (Roxanne) Brunger of Flushing, MI Bruce Brunger of Lennon, MI Kenneth Brunger of Saginaw, MI. Grandchildren: Katie, Josh, Jarod, Kenneth II. and 2 great grandchildren Visitation will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on March 24, 2009 between 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 pm with Funeral Service to follow on Tuesday, March 24th 2009 at 1:30 p.m with Brandon Rodgers, Grief and Bereavement Coordinator for Mercy Hospice officiating. Interment will be at Gerrish Township Cemetery with military honors.
