Herbert Randolph Greene

Herbert Randolph Greene, 84, of Grayling, MI. passed away on December 22, 2013. Herbert was born in Indiana on May 28, 1929. He served in the US Army as a PFC. Herbert was proud of his service to our country as a paratrooper during Korean War His wife Wilma of 37 years preceded in death in 1995 Herbert spent most of his life in Roscommon, lived in Oklahoma for a few years and settled in Grayling around 1985. He liked baseball. Survived by his children: Danny Lee (Dawn) Greene of Kansas Mitchell (Cindi) Greene, Custer, MI Catherine (David) Gustin of Oklahoma Anthony (Julie) Greene of Roscommon Polly Anne (Daniel) Gustin of Oklahoma He had 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren Preceded in death by his parents; wife Wilma; brothers Bud and Ervin; sisters Margaret, Mildred, Daisy, and Clara. Visitation will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Friday, December 27, 2013 between 12-2 p.m. with service following at 2:00 p.m. with Brandon Rogers, Mercy Home Care and Hospice officiating. Interment will be in Roscommon Village Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements by Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home.
