Helen M Pollman, 89, of Grayling passed away on Tuesday, May 1st, 2007. Helen was born in Lansing, Michigan on December 27, 1917, the daughter of the late Carl and Gertrude (Robinson) Hepfer. She worked as office manager for Lundberg Screw Products, Michigan Manufacturers Association, and Ford Motor Advertising Fund until her retirement in 1979. Helen married Robert E. Pollman on January 16, 1976 in Roscommon, Michigan. She loved children, grandchildren and animals. She especially enjoyed the grandchildren as "babies". She had many animals over the years, and particularly like the name of Alfie for a pet. She also enjoyed golf, swimming, gourmet cooking, gardening, designing and decorating homes, painting scenery and above all she enjoyed giving parties and entertaining her friends. She is survived by her husband Bob of 31 years. Daughter(s): Ann (Dave Marsh) Miller of Lansing, MI. Susie (Eric Malcolm) Miller of Lansing, MI. DeDe (Gary) Owen of Ann Arbor, MI. Son: Gary (Colleen) Miller of DeWitt, MI. Step Daughter(s): Karen Preston of Nashville, TN. Step Son(s): Mark Pollman of Houston, TX. Sister: Florence Lindner-Lipp of Bradenton Florida. One special nephew: Rodney (Kathy) Lindner of DeWitt, Michigan She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Helen's Life will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Wednesday May 16, 2007 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Karen Henderlong officiating.
