Helen Jean Dedafoe

Helen Jean Dedafoe, 85, of Grayling, MI passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 16, 2024. 

Helen was born on October 8, 1938 to Green and Marlee (Barker) Marshall in Royalton, KY. She loved campfires and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed going to play bingo, playing horseshoes, and playing card games with her family whenever they would all get together. 

Helen is survived by her children, Larry (Cindy) Dedafoe, Penny Alimenti, and Darreld Dedafoe; 17 Grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Roselyn Miers, Donna Bailey, Denise Zoern, Jerry Betts and Joe Marshall.

She is preceded in death by daughters, Debbie Ockerman and Terri Kehr; Grandson Jason Ockerman both parents; life partner, Joe Dedafoe; and siblings, Robbie Marshall, Mike Marshall Betts, Gary Marshall and Delores Wisdom.
