Grace A. Berardini

Grace A Berardini, 86, of Grayling (formerly of Detroit and Melbourne,Florida) passed away on Saturday, May 16th, 2009 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Grace was born in Detroit, MI on December 6, 1922, the daughter of the late William J and Alberta (Heston) Bloom. She married Alphonse Mario Berardini on August 15, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan. He preceded her in death in July of 1990. Grace was a devoted Catholic and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Grayling. She painted ceramics, enjoyed yoga, swimming, playing bridge and loved to dance. Belonged to the Elks Club and served as president for 2 years. Grace moved back to Grayling,Michigan in 2005 to embrace her daughters and to live with her daughter Jeanne. Survived by Daughters: Dianna (Robert) Hermann of Detroit, Michigan. Jeanne ( special friend, James Farren) Olszewski of Grayling, Michigan. Grand children: Billy & Elizabeth Madzia, David Madzia, Julie Hall, and Jennifer Davidson Great grandchildren: Gerald, Gabriel, Charlie, Grace, Andrew, Kathrine, Christina, and Alyssa. Visitation will be held on Thursday May 21, 2009 between 9-10:30 AM. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. and Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Robert Nalley officiating.
