Gloria Pia Zappella, 79, of Bear Lake Township, Kalkaska County passed away on Monday, January 28th, 2008. Gloria was born on March 16, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan to the late John and Lydia (Martalucchi) Ghezzi She married Richard Anthony Zappella on June 3, 1950 in Detorit, Michigan. Gloria is survived by her husband Richard, Sons: Anthony D. (Beth Ann) Zappella of Imlay City, MI. Richard J. (Kelly) Zappella of Rochester, MI. Grandchildren: Heather, Nicola, Chelsey, Andy, Rick, and Joe and 9 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held between 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 pm at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Wednesday January 30, 2008 and Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm.
