Gloria N. Anglemyer, age 80, of Three Rivers, formerly of Grayling, died March 11, 2023 at home. Gloria was born January 2, 1943 in Charlevoix, the daughter of Orville and Vina Hatfield. She married Oliver L. Anglemyer April 27, 1974 in Grayling.
During her working years she was employed by the former Grayling Mercy Hospital as a dietician and worked production lines for Bear Archery in Grayling and Eaton Corporation in Three Rivers. She was also a housekeeper for Three Rivers Health.
Gloria was a devout Christian who loved life and was always taking care of someone in need. She loved to cook but also enjoyed going out to eat. She made the best apple pies and would make them to sell at bake sales and garage sales and they were the first to sell. Being with family made her the happiest and she enjoyed playing euchre with them. She and Oliver explored what the state of Michigan had to offer while traveling to its many interesting sites.
She is survived by her husband, Oliver; son, Oliver; daughter, Mary Ann (David) Leister; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Forest (Beverly) Hatfield and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were son, Tom; daughter, Tanya; 6 brothers and 1 sister.
The family will receive friends at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Saturday, March 18th from 3:00 PM until the time of her funeral at 4:00 PM officiated by Dr. Robert J. Barnett. Burial will be at Beaver Creek Township Cemetery.
