Glenn Eugene Fugate

Glenn Eugene Fugate, 44, of Grayling, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on January 5, 2025, at Munson Healthcare - Grayling Hospital.

Born on November 18, 1980, in Clearwater, Florida, to Dale and Virginia (Shreve) Fugate, Glenn was a devoted father, loving husband, and cherished son. His children were his greatest joy, and he embraced fatherhood with warmth and unwavering love.

A gifted poet and avid gamer, Glenn was a man of deep passions and steadfast faith. Beneath his seemingly tough exterior lay a tender heart, filled with compassion and an enduring spirit. Known for his wisdom and thoughtful counsel, he was often sought out for his advice and could captivate anyone in conversation. Glenn was fiercely patriotic, holding a profound love for his country, and his spirituality was a guiding force in his life.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 7 years, Toni Fugate; his children, Dale Fugate, Scarlett Fugate, and Juanita Fugate; his mother, Virginia Fugate; his brother, Joseph Dale Fugate II; his sister in law Alyssa Haynes and his in-laws, Juanita Massey and Barry Massey. Glenn was preceded in death by his father, Dale Fugate; his grandmother, June Sylvia Roe; and his great-grandfather, Tannie Trelawney Roe.

Family and friends will gather to honor Glenn’s memory on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home in Grayling, Michigan. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. A luncheon will be held at the funeral home immediately after the service.

Glenn will be remembered for his kind heart, his devotion to his family, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered.
