Gladys "RONNIE" M. Brown, 88, of Grayling, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016. Gladys was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 15, 1928 to Emmett Leroy and Josephine Meade (McKinney) Thomas. She married James H. Brown on June 5, 1948 in Napolean, Ohio. The were married for 61 years before he preceded her in death in 2009. James and Gladys moved to Lovells to build their dream home near KP Lake in 1973. Gladys enjoyed planning and participating in the Annual KP Lake Pig Roast held in Lovells. She was a member of the Grayling Eagles and American Legion Auxiliary of Grayling. Survived by her children: Dan (Sharon) Brown of Gaylord; Sherri (Charlie) Cadeau of Lovells. Grandchildren: Kristie (Jordan) Ault; Carrie Cadeau (Travis Fagan); Regan (David) Grendel-Bebble; CJ Grendel; Rachel Grendel; and Eric (Paula) Grendel. Great grandchildren: Wyatt, Jackson, Jada, AJ, Marley, Macey, Aliyah, and Gibson. Sister: Cleta Goodwin. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Richard Thomas; husband, James; and son Dale Robert. Private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
