In Loving Memory of Gerald Kenneth (Whitey) Hall 4/19/1957 ?" 4/12/09 Our most beloved son, brother and father, Gerald Kenneth (Whitey) Hall passed away in his sleep at his home in Grayling, MI. Whitey was in the loving company of his brothers Ricky and Tom. Jerry (Whitey) is the son of Thomas and Shirley Hall. Jerry was born in Saginaw, MI on Good Friday, April 19, 1957 and went to be with his Dad in heaven on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2009. Jerry was the proud father of Gerald Jr. and Gabriel Hall. Jerry loved and adored his sons. He is also survived by his wife Julia who resides in the Allendale area. Jerry provided for his family in life with a generous general Motors income and will continue to do so in death. He retired from General Motors in 2008. Left with cherished memories: His Mom, Shirley Hall of Grayling, his brothers and sisters and their families, Thomas and Sharon ( his most favorite sister-in-law) Hall of Grayling, Ricky Hall of Saginaw, Cheryl Paez and Mike Badour of Saginaw, Vicky and Gary Rousseau of Traverse City, Julie Hall and Mike Gorski of Grayling, Tresea Rappley of Grayling and many nieces and nephews. Jerry has joined his Dad, Thomas Hall, in heaven where he will now help to keep a watchful eye on all of us he loved so much. All who knew Whitey knew he loved the simple things in life. He loved hunting and fishing with his sons and every thing up-north. Grayling was his home-in-heart for many years. Jerry so very dearly loved his family and had so many dear friends who have enjoyed so many special times and laughs with him. We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of Jerry's friends in so many places that have supported and loved him. His wife Julia has chosen cremation in Grand Rapids, MI. We, his family, were able to spend a few private hours with jerry. We were able to say our good-byes and express our forever love to jerry. Jerry's heart, soul and spirit will remain with us and in Grayling forever. We extend our sincere appreciation and thank you to the Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home for all of the special kindness and understanding you gave our family during our time of great loss. Jerry could growl like a bear and be as gentle as a lamb. He took much pride in watching over and spending time with his young son Gabriel in his time of need and the time he spent with his oldest son Jerry hunting and fishing. He enjoyed so many outdoor adventures with his sons that will never be forgotten. Jerry Jr. and Gabriel will now have their own special guardian angel.. Their Dad. Twisted Glasses Lonely Hours Broken Hearts Dear Son and Brother..Finally you have found peace. You are now home. Jerry, you will always be loved and forever missed!
