George Edward Skrine, 77, of Roscommon, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016. He was born on April 5, 1939 in Pontiac, Michigan to Wendell and Helen (Johnson) Skrine. George served in the US Army and then worked for the US Postal Service. He is survived by his wife, Connie, they were married on May 16, 1979 in Pontiac, Michigan. George was a member of the Grayling Moose, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also known as the neighborhood handyman, and was a friend and supporter to all. Survived by his children: Dawn (Jason) Cupp of Roscommon; Thomas Skrine of Lake Orion; Barbie Nabozny of Traverse City; Rochelle Schultz of West Branch; Kim Schultz of Florida; and Teresa Schultz of St. Helen and 3 grandchildren.
