Gary L. Holmes

Gary Lynn Holmes, 61, of Vanderbilt, Michigan passed away on Wednesday December 12, 2012. Gary was born on July 16, 1961 in Howell, Michigan. Gary graduated from the School for the Blind and later worked with younger children after his graduation. Gary is survived by his son Logan Joseph Holmes of Pittsburg, PA; parents Carl and Joe Ann Smith of Vanderbilt, MI; brother Robert Earl Holmes of Waters, MI; sisters Linda (Steve) Schmidt of Wild Rose, WI and Trisha (Vince) Poirier of Vanderbilt, MI; and several nieces and nephews. Gary is preceded in death by sister Kristana. Visitation will take place at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home Saturday December 13, 2012 from 10 to 12 pm with a funeral service starting at 12 pm.
