Gail Lyn Henderson

Mrs. Gail L Henderson, . reached a peaceful. place when she passed away on Friday, August 6, 2010. She was listening to soft music with her devoted husband and Hospice primary. caregiver Charles. She was born in Detroit, on September 17, 1953, to the late William and Barbara (Arnold) Henderson. She enjoyed a 29 year career with the busy welding supply industry in Ferndale. She and, Charles purchased their Grayling cottage in i998, and it became their full-time residence in 2000 .. They shared many active hobbies including kayaking, biking, cross-country skiing and visiting Michigan's state parks, recreation areas and natural attractions" She developed a great love of cooking, working part time at Gates AtrSable Lodge until her. health deteriorated. She also loved dancing to modem music. Gail and Charles became a loyal couple in the 70s, remained together and married in 1999. , She is survived by her husband, Charles Tousey; sister, Janet (Henderson) Hart of Grayling; two brothers, William of Rochester; Ross of Royal Oak; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. The visitation will" be Thursday, August 12, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., at S oren s o n'- Lo ckwo 0 d Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held after visitation at 3 p.m., with Gail's .first cousin, ~Reverend Dr. Scott Arnold of Quincy, officiating.
