Gail Lynn Fenton

Gail Lynn Fenton, 48, of Grayling, MI., passed away on November 2, 2015. Gail was born in Gaylord, Michigan on July 20, 1967, a daughter of Alberta (Gillette) and Lee Sperry Gail married George Fenton,Jr. on June 1, 1991. She was a graduate of Lake Superior State University. Gail was the Preschool teacher at Crawford AuSable Day Care for 25 years. She was co-owner of Fenton's Auto Service. Gail was part of a very close knit family and community. In her 25 years of teaching preschool, she had graduated over 500 children. She was lovingly referred to as the "2nd mom" by her children's friends. She was an avid reader and fun seeker. Gail loved to have fun. Gail was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She touched the hearts and lives of so many people, and will be greatly missed, but she is now at peace resting in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Survived by her husband, George of 24 years. Children: Hillary Grace and Caleb George Fenton. Parents:Alberta and Lee Sperry of Lewiston Sisters: Cheryl Marie (Larry) Golke of Big Rapids Michelle Lee (Jeff) Webber of Minnesota. Mother in law and father in law: Mildred and George Fenton, Sr. of Grayling and . her extended Fenton family. Many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a daughter, Hayley Lynn Fenton and a son, Benjamin Lee Fenton. Visitation will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Thursday, November 5, 2015 between 1-4 p.m. and 5-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Mt. Hope Lutheran Church at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 6, 2015. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
