Fredric Alton Reichelderfer

Fredric Alton Reichelderfer, 66, of Grayling passed away on Friday, July 31st, 2009. Fred was born in Wyandotte, MI on July 22, 1943, the son of the late Forrest and Erma (Mauren) Reichelderfer. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. Fred previously was a volunteer firefighter for Grayling Fire Department, an EMT, worked as Skyline Ski Patrol, and was a member of Grayling Youth Boosters. He married the former Martha Szymanski on February 15, 1969 at St. Mary's Church in Alpena. Survived by his wife Martie of 40 years. Sons: David "Super Dave" (Jeanne) Reichelderfer of Grayling, MI., Paul (Shannon) Reichelderfer of Wyoming, MI. Grandchildren: Megan, Emma, & Andrew Reichelderfer Fred is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents Visitation will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Grayling on Wednesday August 5, 2009 between 9-11. Mass of Christian Burial at will follow visitation 11:00 a.m., with Father Peter officiating.
