Franz Kersch

Franz Kersch, 86, of Grayling, passed away on June 19, 2016. Franz was born in Austria on August 18, 1929 to the late Joseph and Therisa (Ertl) Kersch. Franz married Josephine Dicka on May 10, 1950 and came to the United States in August of 1950. Survived by his wife, Josephine, of Grayling. Children: Franz J. Kersch, of California; Karl (Chris) Kersch of Jackson; and Mary Ann Thomason of Roscommon. Son in law, Steve Alimenti of Grayling. Grandchildren: Ashly Kersch of Mississippi and her son Zeno; Justin (Jennifer) Kersch of Florida and daughter, Arryanna; and Gage Thomason of Roscommon. Preceded in death by an infant daughter, Helen, and daughter, Susan Alimenti. Visitation will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. and will continue up to the time of service at 12:00 noon.
