Francis Decker

Mr. Francis Decker, 67, of Grayling passed away on Wednesday, June 13th, 2007.. Mr. Decker was born in Grayling, Michigan, on September 17, 1939, the son of the late Francis and Hazel (Leline) Decker. He lived most of his life in Grayling. He was employed for his whole life as a logger in the forestry industry Francis had shined boots at Camp Grayling, drove a taxi. He loved the woods and the "casinos". He married Linda Sterling on August 8, 1959 Grayling, Michigan. He is survived by his wife Linda of 47 years. Daughter: Rose (Jerry) Gildner of Grayling. Son(s): Timothy Paul Decker and LeRoy Francis (Katherine) Decker, Sr. of Grayling. Grandchildren: Timothy Shawn Umlor, Jerry Joe (Kathryn) Gildner, Anthony Lee O'Dell, Cindy Mae Wright, Michelle Lee Decker, Leroy Francis Decker II. Great-grandchildren: Andrew Gildner and Madilyn Rose Gildner. Visitation will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Monday June 18, 2007 from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. Funeral Service will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Tuesday June 19, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. Don Brigham Officiating Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery Grayling, MI.
