McClain, Floyd John, 89, died peacefully in his sleep on March 7, 2012. Floyd was preceded in death by his beloved wife Jean (Brady). He is survived by his two devoted daughters, Colleen Volpe and Maureen McClain and adoring grandchildren Brady Goode, Devin Wozniak and Casey Goode. Floyd grew up in Grayling, Michigan and served as the 1940 GHS class president. He enjoyed the area's hunting, fishing, and golfing opportunities when he wasn't working at the Rialto Theater or tending bar at Duke's. After serving in the Navy during WWII, Floyd moved to Detroit and worked at J. L. Hudson Company for thirty six years. Floyd is also survived by brothers Jerry (Wilda) and Robert (Marilyn), sister Sally (Pappendick), sisters-in-law Rita McClain and Sally Tobin, and brother-in-law Robert Brady (Marilyn). Floyd's life will be celebrated in a private mass at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Redford, MI on Saturday, March 10, 2012.
