Fern Lucille Duncan

Fern Lucille Duncan, 93, of Grayling, MI., passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015. Fern was born in Grayling, MI on April 16, 1921, a daughter of the late Alvina (Dahmer) and Perry Akers. She was retired from Crawford AuSable Schools where she worked as a cook for 27 years. She loved baking. Survived by her children Rhea Foreman of Portage; Bryon Duncan of Portage; Mark and Doug Duncan, of Grayling; 4 Grandchildren 3 great grandchildren many nieces and nephews Brother: Bill Akers, of Phoenix. Preceded in death by parents four brothers Don, Bernie, LeRoy and George Akers Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 between 2-4 p.m. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home. A graveside service and interment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in the spring.
