Evelyn W. Sims (Schniers)

Evelyn W. Sims, 92, of Grayling, MI passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014. Evelyn was born to George and Mary Schniers July 28, 1921. She is survived by children Sharon (Pat) Rutledge of Roscommon,Dennis (Marna) Sims of White Lake, Rita (Jerry) Tata of Fenton, and daughter-in-law Grace Sims; 20 grandchildren; 41 great-Grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Sims, son Robert D. Sims, II, daughter Cherl and son-in-law Mike Susewitz, grand-daughter Tammy Spies, and great-granddaughter Natalie Sims. Visitation will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 pm. A service will take place at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. April 23, 2014 with a luncheon to follow in the family center. Condolences may be expressed at www.sorensonlockwood.com.
