Eugene Russell "Bud" Corwin

Eugene Russell (Bud) Corwin, 88, of Roscommon, MI passed away on Saturday June 29, 2013. Eugene was born in Grayling, MI on June 12, 1925, a son of the late Carrah (Barber) and Charles Corwin. He served in the US Army, was a life time member of Disabled American Veterans, and a member of the VFW of Roscommon. Eugene married the former Virginia Bell Burt on January 15, 1949 in Flint, MI. He retired from Buick after 24 years of employment. Eugene enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, being outdoors, and most of all he enjoyed being with his great grandchildren and family time. He was also a volunteer of the Mercy Hospital Auxillary. Survived by his wife Virginia of 64 years. Son: Butch (Betty) Corwin, of Grayling, MI; Daughter: Denise (Jerry Medina) Corwin, of Roscommon, MI; Grandchildren: Carrah (Chuck Bertrand), Dan (Mellissa), and Maeghan Great grandchildren: Skylar, Hunter, Collin, Marissa, Michael Brother: Donald (Janet) Corwin of Roscommon Extended family: Dave and Diane Ocenasek Preceded in death by his parents Charles and Carrah Corwin, brothers Everett, Ernie, Jr. (Charles), and Happy (Arthur) and sister Fran. We also would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Mercy Hospital they were wonderful to us and took good care of dad., Memorial service will be held at Grayling Free Methodist on Friday July 19, 2013 at 12:00 noon.
