Esther Louise Spietz

Esther Louise Spietz, 96, of Roscommon, MI, formerly of Harper Woods, MI and Roseville, MI passed away peacefully on August 30, 2012. Esther was born in Detroit, MI on August 13, 1916, a daughter of the late Anna (Durow) Spietz and William Spietz. Esther enjoyed socializing, bowling in her younger years, and attended the Mt. Hope Lutheran Church of Grayling, MI. She was a volunteer with Braille Workers Inc. of Detroit for 20 years. She will surely be missed by everyone that knew her. Esther is survived by her beloved siblings Wilma Spietz, Marie Dinkelmann, and Fred Spietz; also many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by both parents; brothers Walter, Elmer, and Marvin; and sister Claire. A graveside service will take place at Beaver Creek Cemetery, near Grayling, MI on Saturday September 8, 2012 at 11:00 am.
