Erma Carolyn Canute

Erma Carolyn Canute, 84, of Grayling passed away peacefully at home with her daughters by her side.

Erma was born January 20, 1936 to Herman and Mary (Bentley) Miller in Grayling. Erma was a very strong independent woman. She worked very hard and diligently during her life. She travelled with her late husband to Myrtle Beach every year and to many other destinations. She is going to be dearly missed.

Erma is survived by daughters, Debbie Lynn Parksinson, Marshel Brush, and Elaine Brush; grandchildren, Jason (Rikki) Eastridge and Travis (Tracy) Brush; great-grandchildren, Jason Eastridge Jr., Alanta Marie Eastridge, Maddie Brush, and Levi Brush; and step-children, Kevin (Annette) Cotie and Yvonne Canute. Erma is preceded in death by son Rick Brush, husband Rodrick Brush, 2nd husband Bill Canute, and both parents.

Erma's family will remember her privately at this time. She will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery in Lyon Twp., MI. Condolences can be shared with family at www.sorensonlockwood.com.
