Emily Marie Grosskopf

Emily Marie Grosskopf, 18, of Grayling, MI., passed away on Monday, December 30, 2013. Emily was born in Petoskey, MI on October 12, 1995, a daughter of Linda Jeane (Rhody) and Richard Thomas Grosskopf. Emily loved being with family and friends, myelar balloons, music, being read to, campfires, hearing the neighbor riding a motorcycle over dirt tracks, going fast on the boat, taking rides in her dads truck, she loved the 'rumble of an engine', watching Jerry Springer, listening to turkeys gobble, going to the movies, and the trampoline. Survived by Parents: Rich and Linda Grosskopf; Sisters: Richelle Elizabeth Grosskopf and Anna Rose Grosskopf both of Grayling; Grandparents Tom and Theresa Grosskopf of Petoskey and Gary and Shirley Rhody of Port Huron; Emily was the niece of Gerry (Linda) Grosskopf of Petoskey, Sue (Steve) DeVries of Belmont, Steve (Maria) Grosskopf of Maryland; Pam (Mike) Drake of Kalamazoo, Deb (Jeff) Erickson of Spring Lake; and cousin of Sarah, Zach, Mary, Thomas, Mark, and John Grosskopf, Katelyn and Liam Drake, and Mikaela and Annika Erickson. She was preceded in death by an uncle, Robert Charles Grosskopf. The family would like to extend special thanks to friends that have stood and helped with Emily over the years. A visitation will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.. There will be a Celebration of Life at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home, Grayling, MI, at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4th, 2014.
