Elmer Alfred Trombley, 91, of Grayling, MI passed away October 31, 2020.

Elmer was born to Eli and Eva (Sterling) Trombley in Flint, MI on July 11, 1929. Elmer served in the United States Navy during the Korean War and also worked as a line worker at General Motors. Elmer enjoyed yardwork, gardening, woodworking, and going to the casino. Most of all he loved his family.

Elmer is survived by his children, John(Bette) Trombley and Ann(Tony) Sterling; grandchildren, Alex, Jacob(Breanne), Abbey, Quinn, Tony(Sarah), Amanda(Cory), Theresa, and Matthew; 7 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Trombley, son Scott Trombley, daughter Marilyn Simpkins, 1 great-great-grandchild, and siblings Thelma Breakiron, Milton Trombley, Hale Trombley, and Robert Trombley.

A Memorial Service with Military Honors is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2020, 3:00 pm with visitation before from 12-3 pm at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, MI 48473.
