Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Pamerleau, 103, of Grayling, passed away on November 8, 2020 in Grayling.
Betty was born August 31, 1917 in Flint, Michigan to Sarah and John Waite. On April 20, 1938, she married George R. Pamerleau in St. Michael's Church, Flint, Michigan. Betty was an R.S.V.P volunteer for 31 years; an American Red Cross Blood Services volunteer for 32 years; on the Crawford County Christian Help Center Board for 9 years and a member of St. Mary's Parish.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George R. Pamerleau; Sister, Roselind Zillich; Grandsons, Christopher David Pamerleau and Michael Ray Dosch; Great Great Grandchildren Maley Jay Graves and Gunner Graves; 4 son-in-laws; Roger Cawker, Kenneth Dosch, Wendel Skinner, and Lawrence Bruno.
Survived by children, George J. (Elizabeth) Pamerleau; Jeanne Bruno; Anne (Dr. Robert) McConnell; Col. John (Nancy) Pamerleau; Diane Brekke and Joan Powers; 16 Grandchildren; 33 Great grandchildren; 16 Great-great-grandchildren and nephew Gary Zillich. Special person in her life: Mariann Pamerleau.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Jerry Hunko officiating.
Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Alpena, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials to St. Mary's Church, Crawford County Christian Help Center, or American Red Cross Northern Lower Michigan Chapter. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.sorensonlockwood.com.
