Elaine Rosemary Campbell

Elaine Rosemary Campbell, 85, of Grayling, MI passed away peacefully at home on June 20, 2024.

She was born on April 29, 1939 to Oscar Goss and Claribell (Lovely) Goss in Grayling, Michigan. She was married to the late Donald A. Campbell on June 3, 1958.

Elaine was crowned as Ms. Grayling Winter Sports Queen in 1957. She worked at Bear Archery in Grayling as a sales agent for many years, worked as secretary at the Grayling Free Methodist Church and also worked as a clerk at Sears in Grayling. She was a wonderful woman and will be treasured in the memories of those she has left behind.

Elaine is survived by her children, Debra (Leonard) Nemeth of Grayling, Dena Portugal of Grayling, Yvonne Pepsin of Kalkaska, Kevin (Tracie) Campbell of Traverse City, Tammi (Alex) Borden of Gaylord, and Annjanette (Eric) Felix of Alpena; 18 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by both of her parents Oscar and Claribell; all of her siblings; granddaughter Elaina Campbell; and son-in-law Jeremy Maczorowski.

A memorial service will take place Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM with visitation starting before at 10:00 AM at Grayling Free Methodist Church.
