Duane Leroy Hamblin, 74, of Beaver Creek Township, passed away on February 14, 2020.
He was born to Ivan and Opal (Plagens) Hamblin in Frederic on January 24, 1946. Duane married Mary Tindall on June 7, 1969. They were married for 47 years before she preceded him in death in 2016. He served in the US Army. Duane was retired from MATES and Grayling Country Club.
Survived by his son: Duane I. Hamblin (Kelly Lownsberry and her children, Dannie and Amiaha). Grandchildren: Shilee, Jamie, Bridgette, and Aleshia. Great grandchildren: Braeden, Brittanie, Paul, Sophie, Robert, and Quentin. Sisters: Dawn Meabon, Becky Christensen, and Janet Hale. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his stepsons, Randy and Ricky Reed.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 3:00 pm at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home with visitation starting at 2:00 pm. Condolences may be sent to www.sorensonlockwood.com.
