Douglas Allan Hunt

Douglas Allan Hunt, 62, of Grayling passed away on Friday, January 16th, 2009. Douglas was born in Bay City, Michigan on May 28, 1946, the son of the late Edgell and Elsie (Hanley) Hunt. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Doug was the Secretary of State Office Manager in Grayling. He married the former Marilyn Beacom on August 25, 1976 in Sault St. Marie, Michigan. Doug enjoyed family activities, was an avid reader and enjoyed reloading and rebuilding antique guns. He was a member of American Legion, VFW, and Sportsmen's Club. Survived by his wife Marilyn Daughters: Rebecca Hunt of Big Rapids, Michigan. Rachel Hunt of Novi, Michigan. Brother, Paul (Marilyn) Hunt of Alma, Michigan. In keeping with Doug's wishes, he has been cremated and a Celebration of Doug's Life will be planned. Details will be published in the Crawford County Avalanche when available.
