Dorothy Mae DuMars

Dorothy Mae DuMars, 64, of Bear Lake Twp, MI, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, August 11, 2021.

Dorothy was born November 22, 1956 to Robert and Geraldine (Cockriel) Parish in Aurora, IL. She grew up in Constantine, MI and was a 1974 graduate of Constantine High School. She lived most of her adult life in Elkhart and Goshen, Indiana.

Dorothy worked in customer service most of her life. She was an avid reader, had a contagious laugh, enjoyed talking to people, loved her family, adored her dogs, and especially loved Jesus Christ. She will be missed.

Dorothy is survived by husband, Carl DuMars; children, Jeremiah (Kacinda) Wright, Matthew Wright, Christopher (Kristen) Wright, and Justin (Stephanie) Wright; step-daughters, Penny DuMars and Sidney (Nick) Tokarski; 10 grandchildren; and sister, Roberta (Bob) Werman. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Dorothy's family will remember her privately at this time.
