Donna Ruth Barnett

Donna Ruth Barnett, 88, of Grayling, MI was welcomed into Heaven to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.

Donna was born to Ora & Fava Poe on May 15, 1933 in Owensville, IN. She loved the Lord and held that faith throughout her life, helping to pass it on to her family for generations. Donna was a very and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a very active and dedicated member of Calvary Baptist Church here in Grayling. She was creative and often made dolls and puppets and even wrote plays for the Baptist School Academy. Donna was also a great cook and her meals were out of this world! She was truly loved by everyone that knew her.

Donna is survived by her husband of 67 years, Dr. Robert Barnett; children Robert (Sharon) Barnett, Brian (Patti) Barnett and Kevin Barnett; grandchildren Kimberly (Nathan), Aaron, Lee (Angie), Chase (Sarah), Brock (Alina), David and Joey; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a large church family. She is preceded in death by her brother Joe and sisters; Mary Katherine, Tuts, Betty Ann and Patti.

Visitation for Donna will take place at Calvary Baptist Church in Grayling, MI on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 3-4 pm followed by a funeral service at 4 pm officiated by Pastor Phillip Niederer. Private family graveside services will be held at Elmwood Cemetery.
