Donald Curtis Messenheimer

Donald Curtis Messenheimer, Jr., 61, of Gaylord, MI passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014. Don was born on July 12, 1953 to Donald, Sr.and Mary Messenheimer in Grayling, MI. Donald worked for the United States Postal Service for 37 years. He enjoyed sports, music, and playing the guitar. Don is survived by his brother, Michael (Rhonda) Messenheimer of Shelby Township, MI; step-children, Terri and Kevin Tope; aunt, Rhea Gierke of Grayling; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Messenheimer, and brother, John Messenheimer. Visitation will take place at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home in Grayling, MI on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 6:00 pm.
