Dolores Norton

Dolores Norton, 83, of Grayling, passed away on April 4, 2019. She was born in Kankakee, Illinois on May 23, 1935 to the late Wilfred and Cecelia (McConnahay) Pippin. Dolores had lived in Grayling for about 20 years. Her smile and kindness were known to many that visited the Crawford County Commission on Aging. She generously gave of her time and was passionate about helping wherever needed around the senior center. Dolores was recently commended by Commission on Aging for her efforts. Survived by her son James Michael (Sherry) Bowen of Illinois and grandchildren Cisco Torres and Jillian Bertrand. Brother, Richard Pippin of Wyandotte. Dolores had many friends that she called her family in Grayling. Preceded in death by children, Marcia Helms and Felton Bowen. Dolores wished to have no service, she had many visits from family and friends in her last days. Her family wished to thank those who took time to bring food and time to visit her.
