Dolores "DEE" Balch, 80, of Grayling passed away on Sunday June 17, 2012. Dolores was born in Ludington, Michigan on July 2, 1931, daughter of the late Isabelle (Sielski) and Charles D. Bryant. She married Lawrence F. Balch on November 6, 1970 in Roscommon. They were married for 35 years before he preceded her in death in 2006. Dee enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a long time member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Dee was also a member of the Grayling Eagles and Hobby Club. Survived by: Sons: Ken (Linda) Huber of Traverse City Chuck (Karen) Huber of Grayling Scott (Becky) of Grayling 10 Grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren Sisters: Lillian Pierce and Joan (Tom) Spader and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents and husband Larry, brother Rodney Bryant and great grandson Grayson Wallace. Visitation will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Thursday June 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Funeral service to follow at 12:00 noon. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery. Dee left a note to extend "special thanks to Sister Jean Umlor, Pattie Quinlan, Sherrie Hoffman, Marsha Rozycki and all my friends Dawn Smith, Denise, Heide Miller and special thanks to Dr. Lisa Harrington and to all my family for all their special help.
