Dennis Robert Wakely

Dennis Robert Wakeley, 56, of Grayling, MI passed away on Wednesday March 20, 2013. Dennis was born in Bay City, Michigan on June 7, 1956, a son of Marjorie Marie (Eichenger) Wakeley and the late Robert Keith Wakeley. He served in the US Navy. He married the former Roberta McCormack on August 10, 2011. He was a member of the Grayling Eagles, American Legion Post 106, and Grayling Country Club. Dennis enjoyed golf, riding his Harley, ice fishing, hunting, travel, tinkering and trying to come up with new inventions. Dennis is survived by his wife Roberta Mother: Marjorie Wakeley of Grayling. Daughter: Shannon (Paul) Reichelderfer, of Grand Rapids, MI; Son: Robert (Cierra) Wakeley, of Grayling, MI; Step daughter: Rachel (Cameron) Lewis, of Harrison. Grandchildren: Jordan, Abigail, Lucy, and Phineas Sisters: Donna (Carl) Roed, Dena (Don) Yelnick, Dawn Wakeley, and Tina "Cookie" Doe all of Grayling. Brothers: Richard (Teresa) of Grayling, Darryl (Cathy) of Florida, and Dale of Grayling. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by his father Robert and brother Daniel. Visitation will be held on Monday March 25, 2013 between 12-2 p.m. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home, Inc. with Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Brandon Rogers officiating.
