Dennis Karl "SKIP" Kaiser

Dennis "SKIP" Karl Kaiser, 69, of Grayling, MI passed away on Monday August 20, 2012. Skip was born in Highland Park, MI on July 26, 1943, son of the late Eleonora (Dahlman) and Fredrick Edgar Kaiser. He married the former Therese Golnick on April 8, 1989 in Grayling. He retired from Camp Grayling after serving over 28 years in the US Army. He was a member of American Legion Post #106. Skip was always willing to donate his time generously to many activities like helping with the Rotary Chicken Barbecue. He was the cofounder of the Crawford AuSable Community Thanksgiving Dinner. He was on the Military Fire Dept. at Camp Grayling, Commerce Twp. and Waters. Survived by his wife Therese of 23 years. Children: Scott (Jennifer) Kaiser of Howell Jamie (Paul) Snyder of Grayling Kimberly (Joshua) Fornwall of Webberville, Grandchildren: Brittanie & Paul Snyder, Jr.; Autumn & Braeden Fornwall, Avani & Soraya Kaiser. Brother: Gary (Deborah) Kaiser of Pinckney . Mother in law & Father in law: Harold "Tike" (Sally) Golnick Visitation will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Friday August 24, 2012 between 3:00-7:00 p.m.. A memorial service will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Saturday August 25, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor David Blake officiating.
