Deborah Rae Knowles,59, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021.
Deborah was born in Garden City on June 14, 1962 to Thomas and Sheila (Conley) Bryan.
Deb relocated to the Grayling area in the late ‘70’s and attended Grayling High School.
In the early ‘80’s, Deb found her love of a lifetime. The one that she would spend the next 37 years making memories with. Deb and Jim Knowles were married on August 26, 1986 at the Guard Camp Chapel. Together the couple enjoyed live concerts, trail riding, watching the stars, and raising a family.
Deb was a long time employee of Mac’s Drug Store and Pharmacy. There she made lifelong friendships and helped serve the community until the business closed in 1997. She later moved on to the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy where she spent another 10 years serving the community.
Deb always enjoyed shopping with her daughters, dining at local restaurants, and soaking up the sunshine. Her absolute favorite place to be was always at home, surrounded by her family, friends, and dogs.
Although taken from us too soon, we have comfort knowing that Deb was greeted at Heaven’s gate by her late daughter, Lindsey Nichole Knowles, her brother James Joseph Bryan, her father Thomas Bryan, and her step-father Marc Harland.
Deb is survived by her husband Jim Knowles; daughter Ashley (Gary) Sheldon; grandchildren Blake, Addison, and Paxton Schreiner; mother Sheila Harland; sister-in-law Dawn Bryan; nieces Kassie (Jason) Miller, Jenna (Austin) Molands; sister-in-law Lori (Deni) Martin, nephews Bryan Martin, Kyle (Chelsea) Martin.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life and Potluck will be held on December 11, 2021 from 2-5 pm at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home. We hope that you will attend and share your best stories with us. In the end all we have are memories.
Arrangements by Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home.
