David Michael Vandenboss

David Michael Vandenboss, 58, of Grayling, MI passed away unexpectedly on September 28, 2024 at his home. 

He was born on August 9, 1966 in Grand Rapids, MI to Stanley and Clara (Duncan) Vandenboss. David was a huge Tigers fan. Every year when his birthday was coming around, he planned a trip to a Tiger's game no matter where they were playing. David had over 35 years total of United States government service between the Navy and his time at the VA. He will be dearly missed by his family and those who knew him.

David is survived by his father, Stanley Vandenboss (Judith) of Walker, MI; siblings, James (Evelyn) Vandenboss of Grand Rapids, MI, Steve Vandenboss of Fennville, MI, and Nancy (Roger) Whip of Prudenville, MI; and niece, Michelle (Cody) Cook.He is preceded in death by his mother, Clara King. 

A Celebration of Life with Military Honors will take place at the American Legion Post 106 in Grayling, MI on Sunday, October 27, 1:00 - 4:00 PM with military honors at 3:00 PM.
