David Eldon Sherbert

David Eldon Sherbert, 69, of Grayling, MI passed away on April 7, 2021.

He was born on March 5, 1952 in Kingsport, Tennessee to the late William and Lula (Terwilliger) Sherbert. Dave married Ruth Hunsberger on August 11, 1973 in Houghton Lake, MI. He attended broadcasting college and initially worked in Kalamazoo. Dave worked at a variety of radio stations in the Grayling area over the years and finished his career at Blarney Stone Broadcasting. Dave was a member, deacon, song leader, and faithfully served wherever needed at Calvary Baptist Church. He enjoyed golfing and fishing.

Survived by his wife Ruth of 47 years. Son, Steven (Athena) Sherbert of Gaylord and their children Natasha and Aiden. Sister: Deb (Danny) Kimbrell of Edwardsburg, Michigan and Brother: Dr. Daniel (Beth) Sherbert of West Bloomfield.

Visitation will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 6504 W M-72 Hwy, Grayling, MI 49738, on Saturday, April 10, 2021 beginning at 9:30 a.m. up until time of his funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Grayling, MI.
