David William Ross

David William Ross, 79, of Grayling, passed away on Sunday April 20, 2014. He was born in Mt. Clemens, MI on March 17, 1935 to James Calvin and Gretchen (Nagel) Ross. Dave served in the US Navy. He married the 'love of his life', Kathleen, more fondly known as "Toots" on September 8, 1955. She passed away in 1981. He built many homes in the Grayling area. Dave loved the Detroit Tigers and was passionate about duck hunting. Survived by his children: David (Karen) Ross, Peggy (Bill) Munson, Michael (Shelley) Ross, Susan (John) Rioux, and Patrick Ross. 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and brothers Dan and James Ross. Preceded in death by his wife Kathleen "Toots", son Dennis, and sister DeeDee. Memorial Service with Military Honors was held on April 25, 2014.
